The one thing we can be sure of is that we are part of the ultimate statistic..10 out of 10 die.Every 24 hours over 150,000 people die,that's roughly 2 per second yet we really don't think much about death until we lose a loved one or close friend or co-worker. And at the funeral,we are reminded time and time again that we are never guaranteed another breath..put your hand on your heart..every beat is a drumroll to YOUR own funeral march. The loved one who is in eternity at this very moment,the one that meant so much to you in this life..what would they say to YOU at this moment? "DON'T MISS HEAVEN" Alot of us see the life after this one as "the great unknown" and there is a certain fear of dying. Most of us love living and don't want our lives to end "early" or "pre-maturely". When I was younger I thought "everyone dies around 70 or later" that was just my thought as a kid..then I began to think..I really don't know WHEN I will die,I pose that question to you..do YOU know when your gonna die? I know that loved one who has passed on would want you to be prepared for that day. The Bible says "it is appointed for man ONCE to die,after this,this judgement". you see dear friend,we ALL have an appointment with death,it's the one thing we all have in common..question is..RU READY? How do I "get ready" so to speak? The Bible says God is the "just" judge of all the world-Gen 18:25 and "nothing" is hidden from the eyes of whom we are to give an account"-Heb 4:13..we need to realize WHO that Judge is and what He expects from us. The Judge is GOD and what He expects from us is "perfection"-Matt 5:48..I don't know about you..but I fail horribly and continue too at this standard. So what is God's standard? His Law,the 10 commandments has been written on our hearts-Jer 31:33..Have you ever lied,stolen.took God's Name in vein(which is called Blasphemy)..if you have God sees you as a lying,thieving,Blasphemous person. you have broken God's law,what "should" God do with you? If God is a "just" Judge,and "justice" must be served,God would be right in sending you to hell(and should be all of our deserved destination). IT DOESN'T STOP THERE..THERE IS GOOD NEWS..Although God SHOULD crush us for breaking His law and sinning against HIM and HIM ALONE...God sent His Son,Born of a virgin,to live a sinless life.He never once broke God's law..He was sent to die a horrible death on the cross for YOUR SINS..He was buried and then rose again on the third day defeating DEATH. Basically,YOU broke God's law..JESUS CHRIST paid YOUR fine in His Life's Blood so that you would not be punished on judgement day.what does God require of you to "BE READY" for that day? REPENT,turn from you sins..realizing your NOT a good person,agreeing with God,your a bad person.and put your FULL trust in JESUS CHRIST(Jesus said "I am the Way,the Truth,and the Life,noone comes to the Father except through me") and God promises that you will spend eternity in a place called Heaven. now you may have heard all this before(maybe at church) and you say "I BELIEVE all of that.." I'm sorry to say BELIEF DOES NOT GUARANTEE you Heaven,the Bible says that even the demons believe and they tremble-James 2:14-26 By Repenting your LIFESTYLE changes..the sin you once loved,you now hate,the God you once REBELLED against,you now LOVE and ESTEEM.
I DO offer my condolences to those who have a loved one who has passed on from this life to the next,my prayers are with the families grieving at this very moment. You might not think what I have written is a very "loving" thing to write..you may have never heard it explained that way.The most loving thing a person can do is to warn someone that they are in DANGER and the ONE thing your family member would want..is for you to be READY for eternity..the good news is not really good until the BAD news is UNDERSTOOD. I plead with you today to REPENT and TRUST Jesus..If you have..LIVE LIKE IT..Your motivation for Living for Christ should be HIS KINDNESS in DYING for YOU..there is NO GREATER LOVE...Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.-John 15:13........
"As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up;
so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
"For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
"He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.-JOHN 3:14-18
